The compiler customarily made entries on Saturday or Sabbath evenings, consisting of religious and moral meditations, several taken from Blair's Sermons. Includes selections from Mrs. Sigourney and Wordsworth (The Prelude). Essay, "Cobwebs & Spiders," laid-in. Written in Newbury, Mass.
